I’m feeling very random today.   And since it’s only Tuesday, the rest of the week is still looming ahead.  Boo!

Eight Things You’ll Never See Me Blog About

8.  References that may elude to what I acutally weigh (past, present or future), because, quite frankly, it’s none of your business.

7.  Any specifics about my job, my job duties, the company I work for, and/or my feelings (both positive and negative) about my colleagues and management.   There’s tons to work with here but really too much of a risk for me.

6.  Any specifics about the Engineer’s job, job duties, company he works for, and/or his feelings about colleagues and management.   Mainly because at the point it enters the blog it’s just hear-say, which I believe is unbecoming for blogging.

5.   Politics.   I’m red.  My parent’s are red.  The Engineer is more purple (a little blue, a little red), the Engineer’s family is mostly blue.   Many of my readers/friends are blueish/reddish (except for J-art — she’s freaking TRUE BLUE).  There are too many opportunities to paint myself into a ‘red’ corner and I’d rather not have to defend my political self on my own blog.  I vote, enough said.   If you’re looking for politics, read Swampland.

4.  Religion.   Well.. this goes without saying.   This isn’t a religious blog and I’m, by far, not the know-all, be-all of religious information.   Will I likely mention church?  Yes.   Will I blog about my religious and theological beliefs?  Absolutely not.   Again.. because quite frankly, they are none of your business

3. Financial/Social Status.  It’s just tacky.  Don’t ask me what I earn, don’t ask me what I paid for my wedding, don’t ask me what my debt-to-asset ratio is.  I was brought up by a mother who quickly made it her duty to school me in the art of ‘cooth’.  If someone wants to offer up what they make, spend, or owe, that’s their business, but you keep your business private.

2.   Overheard Rumors.   I’ll repeat them all day long (I know I know.. it’s a horrible habit), but you’ll never see me put them in writing.   Again.. it’s unbecoming of a blog.

1.  Behind closed door actives with the Engineer.  Really… does this even need explaining?

Ahh.. now that I’ve gotten that out of the way… back to the grindstone.

Oh and for those of you in and around the Camden area:  My father is alive and well.   If you’re confused.. read the obituaries.
